FLASH DEVELOPER

Flash Developer should be an experienced advocate of best interactive design and development practices with the ability to create scalable Flash applications using OOP techniques. Developer should also be passionate about interactive and seek innovative ways to solve problems. In other words, push themselves and others to produce great work!

Responsibilities:

The Flash Developer works on a variety of projects including websites and web-based applications, touch screen kiosks, banner advertising as well as other digital media. Collaborates with the Creative Team and Account Executives to implement all aspects of the design and user interface.

Skills and Capabilities Required:
Development proficiency:

• Actionscript 2 & 3
• XHTML
• CSS
• Javascript (AJAX and jQuery)
• ASP/.NET
• PHP
• XML

Software experience:

• Flash
• Dreamweaver
• Fireworks
• Photoshop

Thorough knowledge and understanding of:

• UI and UX design
• Web standards and best practices
• Development frameworks and APIs
• Animation and motion graphics
• Video (Flash video and other) and audio

Other helpful skills and capabilities include:

• Flex
• DNN and Ektron CMSs
• SQL and other database softwares
• DNN and Ektron CMSs
• Mobile, social and viral media

Experience Requirements:

3+ years work experience in web and Flash development

Education Requirements:

BS or MS in Computer Science, Interactive Media, Web Design, Web Development or equivalent experience.
