MERRICK TOWLE COMMUNICATIONS WINS IN TWO MAJOR CATEGORIES AT THIS YEAR’S PILLARS CEREMONY
(Beltsville, MD) – Friday, April 04, 2008 – Harry L. Merrick IV, President and Chief Executive Officer of Merrick Towle Communications (MTC), announced today that the agency received accolades in two major categories at The National Association of Home Builders’ 2008 Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Awards Ceremony held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The agency won awards in both the “Best Overall Leasing Campaign for a Rental Community” and “Best Property Website” categories for The Zenith (www.zenithapts.com). Managed by Bozzuto Management Corporation, The Zenith is a brand new, 21-story luxury high-rise community located in Baltimore, Maryland. This year’s awards mark the sixth “Best Website” and seventh “Best Campaign” wins for MTC.
Considered the most prestigious national awards in the industry, the Pillars Awards honor excellence in multifamily development, design, marketing and management. Over the past nine years, Merrick Towle Communications has won an unprecedented 17 awards in several categories, including Best Overall Sales and Leasing Campaign, Best Brochure for a For Sale Community, Best Community Brochure, Best Brochure for a Rental Community and Best Rental and Corporate Web Site.
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) created the Pillars Awards program in 1990 to honor superior achievement and leadership in the multifamily industry. Since then, the Pillars have earned a reputation as the industry’s most coveted awards and are considered a showcase of future trends and innovations. Hundreds of entries, representing multifamily communities from across the country, vied for this year’s Pillars of the Industry Awards.
