MERRICK TOWLE COMMUNICATIONS WINS FOUR ADDY AWARDS

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 20, 2009) - Merrick Towle Communications, one of the largest integrated communications agencies in the Washington, D.C. area, today announced that it has won four 2009 ADDY Awards from The Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington.

The winning entries include Gold ADDY Awards for:

  • Metro diorama for Frontier Financial's Westwood Gardens condominiums in Silver Spring, Md.
  • A marketing brochure for CityVista, a Lowe Enterprises community in Washington, D.C.

Merrick Towle Communications won Silver ADDY Awards for:

  • A kiosk for Belmont Station, an Essex Property Trust apartment community located in Los Angeles
  • A promotional piece for JPI's Jenkins Row condominiums on Capitol Hill

In making the announcement, Glenn Towle, chief operating officer and partner, said, "I am excited that this work not only produced great results for our clients, but has also been recognized by the D.C. advertising community for its creativity."

The awards represent the first step in the American Advertising Federation's three-tiered ADDY competition. Winners from the Washington ADDY Awards advance to the regional competition. Winners at that level qualify to compete in the national ADDY Awards.

The presentation for the 2009 ADDY Awards were held at the Carnegie Institution of Washington on March 20th.
