(Beltsville, MD) – March 25, 2011 – Merrick Towle Communications (MTC), one of the largest independent full-service integrated communications agencies in the Washington, D.C. area, today announced that it has won three 2011 ADDY Awards from the Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington.

The winning entries include gold or silver ADDYs for:

• A micro site for 3 Tree Flats, a JAIR LYNCH Development Partners apartment residence located in D.C.'s Petworth community
• Consumer Flash in a website for Woodside Ventures' Quarry Springs ultra-luxury condominiums in Potomac, Maryland
• Consumer HTML in a website for Del Ray Central apartments in Del Ray, Alexandria

In making the announcement, Harry L. Merrick IV, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "I'm pleased not only that our creative work has been recognized by the D.C.. advertising community, but also by the great results it has produced for our clients."

The awards represent the first step in the American Advertising Federation's three-tiered ADDY competition. Winners from the Washington ADDY Awards advance to the regional competition. Winners at that level qualify to compete in the national ADDY Awards.

The presentation for the 2011 ADDY Awards was held at the Almas Temple in Washington, D.C. on March 15th.
