We were charged with creating a brand that attracts the type of people who want to live a unique lifestyle not available in Navy Yard or Capitol Hill, the two submarkets this property sits between.
The Bixby’s location, between one of DC’s most established neighborhoods, and Navy Yard, one of DC’s hottest emerging neighborhoods, gave us the opportunity to play off of the feel of being able to experience the best of DC as a traveler, while living in the middle of it all.
Escape in DC
We developed a brand and launched the Escape in DC campaign, to highlight the property’s oasis-like distinction from the nearby high-rises in Navy Yard, its central location and resort-style amenities. We created a campaign that uses hand-crafted, travel-style poster art and messaging that both encourage residents to get out and explore DC, as well as stay home and simply enjoy what surrounds them.
