With his ability as a strategic thinker, Glenn Towle began his business career helping to build Heritage Books, a mail-order publishing company, into one of the nation’s leading companies within its field. Glenn joined the accounting department of what was then Merrick Advertising in 1990, but quickly took on additional responsibilities. Having spent time working in essentially every department, he made partner in 1996. Not long after, Glenn’s contributions were further recognized when the agency became Merrick Towle Communications. Since then, Glenn has been a driving force behind the agency’s growth and its ever-expanding capabilities.
As one might expect, Glenn has a crystal clear vision of what brings a Maryland advertising agency from regional recognition to the national stage. To him, there is no “pinnacle,” “apex” or “zenith” when charting a company’s growth. Instead, there are challenges which exist only to present opportunities—and opportunities which are there to be seized and pursued to even higher levels of achievement. This is Glenn Towle’s vision.
